The UNPAR Library serves as a center for information providers which is in charge of collecting, processing and distributing information as a form of support to the process of education and research at UNPAR, and currently has a collection of books amounting to 69,587 titles with a total number of copies amounting to 125,059 copies. Periodicals include as many as 2,201 titles consisting of various types, such as international journals, national journals, and local and international scientific magazines, popular magazines, newspapers, etc., either subscribed to or acquired through donations. Collections on CD-Rom / CD / DVD / VCD include as many as 1,308 titles on 2,760 disks.

Coverage of the collection owned by the Library include Economics, Mmanagement, Accounting, Law, Public and Business Administration, International Relations, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Philosophy, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Information Science and other fields needed to support the learning process at UNPAR.

In addition to the physical collection, the Library also provides a collection in digital format amounting to 62.729 files that consist of collections of theses and dissertations and also provide access to e-journals databases, either subscribed to by UNPAR or provided for free by the Higher Education such as Proquest, Emerald, the American Accounting Association (AAA), APTIK Digital Library (ADL), InfoTrac, and Portal Garuda. The address of each page can be viewed through the UNPAR page (www.unpar.ac.id).

Currently, the library has also implemented a system of on-line circulation services at the Library of the Postgraduate and Philosophy with a realtime connection, which means that lending and returning transactions and extension of the loan period is connected directly to the server at the central library (Ciumbuleuit).

The developing process of UNPAR’s digital library will continue to be pursued, and is expected to further meet the needs of all users for the required information.
